AMAZING pizza. Gotta try the honey on the crust. We track down a Beau Jo's anytime we come into Colorado and it never disappoints. Also found out we can have their pizza shipped through Goldbelly so we'll be doing that to get our fix when we're back home in KC!
Ordered take out for a mountain 2lb pizza and the honey cheddar bread. So the honey cheddar bread was a winner. The pizza was not seasoned, and lacked flavor. It also leaked juice out of the box (due to pineapple we presume). Overall we are unsure if we will come back to taste the flat pizzas since we thought a local chain pizza place was better than the pizza here. We will see I suppose.
Friday night is sometimes pizza night. Beau Jo's got the nod. We have been to the Longmont location on a few occasions. The restaurant was not full! Josh, the server was at the table in a flash. We ordered two pizzas and two small salads. Then we waited and waited... no salad was brought to the table. After 40 minutes the pizza was brought out. One was overcooked a little but was eat able. The other, a plane cheese was burnt could not be eaten. The waiter took it back to the kitchen for a remake. 30 minutes later it arrived burnt more than the other. The manager was called he looked like a deer in the middle headlights. He was going to have it remade again. Still no salad. We decided not to go for another remake. We got by on the one pizza for three of us. All in all the entire night was a bust. Will not be returning for a long time.
WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPEINING TO THIS PLACE!! Its a very nice looking brand new building. The food is still up there, if you want a good pizza with some unique touches. But the beverages are sad to say the least. Missing several beers that should be a staple, even ones on the current menu were out. We ordered cocktails since there wasn't anything worth trying on tap, and there wasn't a bartender working!! Of course our waiter did not tell us this until he brought our drinks! One was without even exaggerating, 2/3 of a glass. The other had so much sweet syrup added it was undrinkable. The worst part was our service. IT WAS NOT BUSY....maybe 8 tables were full....tops! Our waiter was one of 3, and could not keep up. I ended up getting boxes from the hostess and having her run our credit card. This venue is a great looking building, tons of outdoor seating, nice inside. Yet it was a dismal amount of people here. I hope whoever is running this one, changes their views on whats important.
My husband and I went in for a quick appetizer. That wasn’t so quick! We ordered six wings and a Caesar salad it took 40 minutes to get to us. The chicken on top of the salad looked like it was the bottom of a frozen bag and looked more like cat food than chicken plus the lettuce was brown. Our server was very busy and they were definitely understaffed but we were left feeling like we were more of an inconvenience than anything. Paid our tab tipped our server and left the food as it wasn’t edible. This was my first experience here and most likely my last. Leaving an hour later still hungry and disappointed.
