For the location and price I have no complaints. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was a good size and appeared clean. The pool, though small, is extremely relaxing if you can find a time where no one else is swimming. Unfortunately the hot tub was not available during my stay so since we payed full price for an amenity that wasn't provided I dropped one star. Overall, we will come back since we enjoyed the hotel so much! Even signed up to be a choice member.
I got in very late to the hotel. Like, 2:45AM late. The night attendant did not hear me come into the lobby. I called out but got no response. I waited a couple of minutes, then noticed a bell on the counter. The night attendant came out of the back office. He looked like he'd been asleep. He set up my room just a short distance from the lobby. Unfortunately the room had not been cleaned and the hallway was lined smelly with bags of trash. I got the attention of the attendant using the bell. The hotel system apparently showed the room as cleaned. The second room the attendant set up for me was mostly great. By now it's almost 3:15AM. The bottom of the shower has no slip strips. There should be three strips. But one was missing. I slid in the shower, catching myself on the wall. The free hot breakfast was that typical of Choice Hotels. Scrambled eggs, sausage patties, sausage gravy, waffles, cold cereal, boiled eggs, etc. The breakfast filled the need for nutrition. I would stay here again.
I really like it, the staff are all very nice, it's very clean, the suites are big and the AC is cold. The pool is lots of fun, there is a nice outside space by the indoor pool. They are great to my dogs, with grass to walk them. My family really enjoyed the breakfast options especially the mound of bacon on Sunday! This is a very nice hotel that should be rated higher.
Facility was great. Room was spacious and clean. Only complaint is the parking situation. The app states this location has bus & truck parking however it does NOT have a large parking lot when it comes to large vehicles Our fault for not checking the street view to confirm however if you are going to advertise bus/truck parking, there should be ample space to drive as well as park. We made it work but had to take up multiple regular parking spots which would not have been an option had the hotel been full.
After being left with nowhere to go from a Super 8 down the street that said they take pets, but never specified that they don’t take cats, I called this hotel and they were amazing. The young man at the front desk helped us get a room on the first floor since we had our 2 cats and got us near an entrance for easy access. Such kind staff and very helpful.
