I have been getting ECR beans delivered to my doorstep for the past ~2 years. I love these beans! Their beans and the notes they come with have helped me get through the pandemic. The webstore is slick and easy to navigate... but most importantly, I'll say it again, their beans are awesome! I wish there was an actual store front I could visit to get coffee.
Fantastic roasting, great people! We have tried a few different types, even the decaf! It's so great to find solvent-free decaf! Local delivery or shipping also makes it easy to have deliciously fresh roasts at your door.
ECR delivers to my doorstep with a hand-written note of positivity or well-wishing (although it appears the notes are being printed nowadays, sniff), and always has a flavorful roast no matter what varietal, and it’s been that way for years. Raise your hand if your roaster has ever walked you through a batch o’ beans! Pulling my daily dose of Erie-sistible!
Amazing quality roaster! I just brewed my first cup with these beans and they are simply amazing. You can tell these guys play close attention to detail which results in a great cup of brew. Since I am local, they had a great door delivery that was fast and efficient. I can't wait to try their other verities.
Update - I made it by their storefront at the Erie airport and signed up for home delivery as the farmers market season is almost over. They have an awesome set up there! So glad to be able to support a local business AND get my caffeine fix at the same time. I’ll never go back to buying mass roasted coffee again! I haven’t been by their shop but I’ve picked up their cold brew coffee at the farmers market for the past few weeks. Absolutely delicious! A bottle of their cold brew lasts me a week. I’m going to have to sign up for the home delivery option. When the farmers market season ends, I’m going to go through withdrawal if I don’t! :-)
