Definitely some of the best Indian food I've found in Colorado... and a beautiful location on Main St. Everything we tried was far above the average quality and flavor. Prices are VERY good for what you get. Now that we know what's up, we'll be going back ASAP.
I’ve only been to Flavor of India four or five times over a few years, but have always been glad I chose them. I make a point of ordering a different dish and meat (or lack of) every time, combined with an appetizer that adds another new taste. Put simply, I have loved everything every time. Yum! Oh, and the servers are always personable and efficient. What more can you ask for?
My 11 year old son and I stopped in here for lunch when we were out running errands on a Saturday morning. Most of our conversation was about how much flavor was in the food and what a difference it is to taste each ingredient - you could see that there were a lot of spices in the sauces. We loved the food and will bring the whole family back some time.
Sometimes this restaurant is great. On my most recent visit, they seemed to mix up the spice levels: the “mild” dish was verging on hot while the medium dish was mild. Other than that, they were tasty. And it took close to 30 minutes to flag someone down for the check and then get it paid.
A hidden gem for sure, and I love the new location--classy. Their food is fresh and flavorful! The samosa chat was crunchy and vibrant, and paired well with their perfect pickles. The star of the show was definitely the Chicken Korma. The chicken was tender, and braised to perfection. The sauce was thick and luscious, with plenty of texture. The only constructive feedback i have would speak to the pakoras. I say, bring back the old fritter-like crispy veggie clusters laced with oinions as they are far superior to the fried cauliflower and potato slices. We will definitely be back for more.
