I’m leaving a 5 star to support small local business but honestly was very disappointed in the food. It was average at best. I really appreciate that they do have gluten free bread, pancakes, and waffles. And I would still be curious to try their food challenge one day. We had some of the GF pancakes, waffles, and also an order of the corned beef hash. The staff was great in our limited interactions so I wanted to leave an overall positive review.
This beautiful little mom, and pop place is exactly what we have been looking for. The steak is what caught our eye, but once we got here, it became hard to choose. The menu is great, lots of great items. A must try! I settled for the double cheese. The homemade pie and coffee are on point. We will be returning to Goodfellas Diner.
I have had to drop my review from 5 stars to 3. I have always loved the atmosphere at this restaurant. The food was always too notch and the service prior to this last visit was always friendly and amazing. After this last visit though....I may have to take a break from visiting this establishment. We barely got seated when our server came over and asked if we were ready to order...we hadn't even looked at our menus yet. We politely asked for more time and did not see her again for 20 minutes. After finally ordering, someone else brought us our food and the biscuits and gravy were not good...taste or visually. My husband scooted the plate to the edge of the table and our server walked by multiple times ignoring our table. No refills, no asking if everything was okay....we only saw or talked to her a total of 3 times. After 30 minutes of no contact she finally came over and asked how things were. We politely told her that the biscuits and gravy was unsatisfactory and we wanted some boxes and the check. No I am sorry, would you like anything else, not 1 time did we get asked about drink refills...in all the times we have come here, worst food and service ever. She did however at the end, apologize for the food and took off the biscuits and gravy from our bill.👍
A friend took me to Longmont on vacation. The next morning we dined in Goodfella’s the first waitress was Lisa. The second morning Brandi was are waitress. The last day dining Jessica was are waitress. Everyone was fantastic, honey they kept checking on us my coffee stayed full. When asking for a cup of hot water my first visit I was amazed how even the gentleman clearing the tables remembered me bringing me a cup of hot water my last visit. The food was delicious “Thank you to everyone involved in the back of the house “. My next visit indeed I’m coming back for a fantastic meal and service. Before leaving my eyes caught the cinnamon rolls in the display case along with the pies it’s a must my next visit. Forgot to take photos first time dining of my visits couldn’t wait to start eating managed to take a couple “Philly cheese sandwich and fries 😋 had to dip my sandwich in the next photo, both was delicious.
