The people here were really awesome and they have delivery which is great!!! The crust they use tastes delicious but because of the huge amount of ingredients it gets kinda wet and soggy. We also got wings and although the flavor was good they were not crispy at all and we didn't eat more than one each.
Only giving one star because I have to. I don’t know where to start, my experience was so poor. Customer service was terrible - I placed a pick up order and not only was the person rude on the phone they also told me they couldn’t put basil on the side for the margarita pizza... this is such a small detail and I can’t imagine why a restaurant couldn’t put basil leaves on the side. After politely questioning, I was told that it depends on how busy they are and she would talk to the chef. I ordered a vegan margarita pizza, after reading decent reviews from a Facebook group, and was excited. What I received was a pizza with no sauce, diced tomatoes, and vegan cheese. The basil was on the side, to my surprise. This is the furthest thing from a margarita pizza and contains so much garlic that my car still smells like the pizza, 24 hours later. I was baffled when I open the box and saw a pizza with no sauce but chunks of minced garlic as a paste and tomatoes. This is not a margarita pizza and while I’m excited they offer vegan options, I will NEVER support this business again and encourage you to take your local business support elsewhere.
Nicolo’s has really friendly service but the pizza is just okay. It tastes alright, but the crust is only as good as most frozen pizzas. I didn’t think it was worth the price I paid.
Had to give 1 star to review . In our attempt to support local restaurants during COVID we placed our regular order for a pizza with extra meatballs for delivery. We politely called to tell them that our pizza came wit no meatballs. We were rudely told that the meatballs were under the cheese and that the chef said he was very generous with the meatballs and then she hung up on us. We took the pizza to them so they could see there were in fact no meatballs and they didn’t even look in the box. We will support restaurants that appreciate the business during these hard times and it is not Nicolas in Longmont!
It's tough to find good food when traveling. Nicolo's exceeded our expectations. We called an order in and they filled it even though they were trying to get closed and get home to their families. The real bonus is that they make a very good pizza. I can't drive 700 miles for this every day, but if I''m in Longmont again I'll definitely be eating at Nicolos.
