Really horrible service. Came to grab a beer and an app, and asked if we could sit outside. With an eye roll the host said yes. She met us out back and asked that we sit in a table in the dark so the "server wouldn't need to walk as far." There was an outdoor gas fire pit that we asked if she could light. "Uh, I don't think we're doing that tonight," was her response. We said can you ask as it would be awesome. "I don't know where he is," she said and walked off. A nice girl brought us water and said our server would be right over. We waited 15 minutes for that to happen. When she came she groaned in frustration for having to come outside. We ordered beers and some pretty decent nachos. Quick beer and nachos and we left. I still tipped 30% in support of service folks despite not good service. The restaurant really missed an opportunity. Had they lit the fire we would have ordered apps, dinner and multiple drinks. We are careful due to at risk family members, but we still desperately needed a night out. I would return often had we found any sense of hospitality. All the pieces are there: good beer list, nice outdoor setting, outdoor fire pit. Are they are lacking is even a hint of hospitality or service. Don't bother with this place.
Second time there decided to go for the wings regular buffalo hot. Ubertasticly delicious. First time I went with the Nachos that are made with fresh made potato chips was an ingenuous idea that made my mouth so very happy. I enjoyed the Nachos with Oskar's Lager perfection. Not sure who's cider it was today with my wings but it was Blueberry Lavender. We took some home it was so good. Second of many visits to come. ♡
This place does not disappoint! The food is fantastic and the beer is good! I would come everyday for lunch if I could! Server Amanda was phenomenal and answered every need.
Literally NO service. The food may be good? The beer via liquor store is good, lol. We were sat and forgot about. We were gonna have drinks, app, dinner, etc...nobody even asked. So off to 300 suns, they at least take your order. Maybe it's good at OB. Oh P.S It's a Sunday at 2:15pm.
We love this place. Great beer and great food, so what more could you ask for? We chose a beautiful January afternoon on a Friday to eat outside. OB has a large outdoor seating area with tables spaced apart for the pandemic. We noticed the menu is smaller, understandably so, but with plenty of choices for happy hour and then dinner. My husband loves their fried pickles served with a dipping sauce as an appetizer. I had the salmon for dinner and it was wonderful, cooked just perfectly. The sauce on the salmon was slightly spice and very flavorful. My husband ordered a burger that was big and grilled perfectly. I nibbled on the fries, which were so good that I insisted he bring the leftovers home. My favorite beer is Death By Coconut. It usually rolls out in October and is served until it is gone. Sadly, it's been long gone, but not to worry. My second favorite beer was on the menu. I love Bootstrap's Pineapple Chillax. After dinner we sat around the fire pit with good friends trying more beer. I had a bourbon barrel stout that was perfect for a fire and dropping temps. We have always loved Oskar Blues, and this day was more of the same. It's places like this that make the pandemic tolerable. Cheers to you, Oskar Blues!
