My family has been going here since they opened 20+ years ago. Very generous cuts of fish and always super fresh. Always have to have the tempura green tea ice cream for dessert.

I thought the food was very good. The seafood udon was quite good. Properly seasoned with a good amount of seafood in it. Went with several friends and they got a fair amount of sushi and everyone was quite happy with it. They did a great job handling a relatively large group. Food came out relatively quickly but nobody rushed us. Great people, were very accommodating as I had to pull a lunch together for a group just a day in advance. Definitely would go back and try some of the other dishes!!

I really enjoyed dinner at Sakura. I've been in Las Vegas for 27 years and the sushi experience is a little different but every plate that arrived was full of flavor and the service was top notch. Really friendly staff and owner. Was a little dismayed at the amount of times I saw the words "imitation crab" on the menu and would have really wanted to try those dishes otherwise but the lobster was great and all the fresh fish was very fresh, not fishy. Little oyster shooter with the quail egg went down well. Overall high marks.

A locally owned gem, the sushi is fresh and delicious, tempura is hot and crispy, plum wine is a sweet treat. The owners are friendly, wonderful people who have made a comforting, bright space.

Sadly we did not enjoy our experience here. The staff was helpful and attentive but then directly at 8:30 they were impatiently ready to roll us out the door. It’s not our fault the food took so long to arrive! Speaking of the food it was subpar. The miso soup was too salty and had no seaweed. The fried appetizers were sooo greasy and the presentation was: “throw it on the plate.” The rolls were a shining example of an amateur’s work, just look at my pictures! The salmon sushi was cut terribly. It was big thick pieces that were so tough we couldn’t bite through. The wasabi was dark green like I’ve never seen before. On a brighter note, the fish all seemed fresh.
