Charming and surprising cafe with a Prarie to Mountain vibe! Hygienes own Mountain Fountain, the one and only. This area is lucky to have an actual well managed health food restaurant. Big drink menu with worthy coffee and etc. I have tried soups and house made breads many times and never disappointed. Park in front and sit outside. Shop the dry goods section for a variety of relevant items.
At first sight it seems that this place is in the middle of nowhere. But if you live in Hygiene, it is obviously not nowhere, but more interestingly if you bike around it is definitely not in the middle of nowhere. The place has this vintage vibe with high ceiling and a lot of room. The table by the windows let you enjoy so much light. The food is great and the staff is super welcoming.
Beware! The cashier added gratuity without my consent. I bought goat cheese and crackers. Total, rounded up and with tax, was $18. Charged $20.45. Goat cheese was delicious.
Please never change. Such a cute place with delicious food and beautiful gifts. I have celiac disease, and the GF baking is the best around.
Amazing little place for sandwiches and fresh homemade gluten-free pie!!! Also great soup options! You have to stop here on your way to the Rockies!
