Had the steak fries here with a friend and absolutely amazing! Good selection of craft beer and server was friendly and attentive. They have an outdoor patio that is great in the summer. Full bar selection as well and nice decor all over. Like I said meal was outstanding, highly recommend!

Ah, the old fashioned. It's a classic cocktail that's been around for over a century, but when done right, it can still pack a punch and leave a lasting impression. I recently had the pleasure of trying an old fashioned at The Roost, and let me tell you, it was something special. From the moment the glass was placed in front of me, I could tell that this was not going to be a run-of-the-mill old fashioned. The amber liquid sparkled in the dim light, teasing me with its rich, honeyed scent. The first sip confirmed my suspicions - this was a cocktail made with care and precision, the kind that takes you by surprise and leaves you wanting more. The balance of flavors was spot-on. The bourbon was smooth and full-bodied, with just the right amount of bite. The sweetness was subtle and not overpowering, with hints of vanilla and caramel that lingered on the tongue. The bitters added a pleasant complexity to the drink, tying everything together in a harmonious blend of flavors. But what really set this old fashioned apart was the attention to detail. The ice was crystal clear and perfectly proportioned, melting slowly and evenly so as not to dilute the cocktail. The garnish - a single, plump cherry and a twist of citrus - was the cherry on top, adding a pop of color and a burst of flavor that complemented the drink without overpowering it. Comparisons are often odious, but in this case, I feel confident saying that The Roost's old fashioned holds its own against Death and Company in Denver - a high bar to clear, to be sure. But it's not just a matter of taste - it's the entire experience, from the expertly crafted cocktail to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere of The Roost. It's the kind of place where you can relax, unwind, and savor a drink that's been made with care and passion. And in a world that often feels rushed and impersonal, that's something to be treasured.

What a great local hangout downtown, plenty of free parking all around with upscale American menu and and an eclectic drink selection, don’t visit Longmont without stopping by. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and side Caesar salad, both where top notch, the bun was soft and fresh. Super friendly and fast service. It was a little on the noisy side due to an excited table, but still very pleasant. Outdoor dining options and even some semi private rooms with large tables that could accommodate a large group. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Had lunch here on a Tuesday. The menu is so interesting with many different dishes. Decided on the Buckner Lamb Gyro. What an amazing combination of flavors and presented so visually beautiful. Honestly loved it and it will be in my future again!

Lots of Gluten free items available! GF fried chicken isn't easy to come by so I was excited to try. Loved it and highly recommend. Parking lots is small so you may need to park elsewhere and walk over. But early morning on a weekday had a lot of spots.
